Railway Children fights for vulnerable children who are alone and at risk on the streets, where they suffer abuse and exploitation. In the UK, this is a hidden issue that most people don't even know exists. Every year 100,000 under 16s run away or are forced to leave their homes where they suffer poverty, violence, abuse and neglect. Some find themselves living on the streets because there's nowhere else to go and no one left to turn to. But, sadly, the dangers they face on the streets are often even worse than those they endure at home.
