The militarization of the Eastern Mediterranean is broadly under the jurisdiction of NATO in liaison with Israel. The naval buildup is coordinated with the planned air attacks. The planning of the aerial bombings of Iran started in mid-2004, pursuant to the formulation of CONPLAN 8022 in early 2004. In May 2004, National Security Presidential Directive NSPD 35 entitled Nuclear Weapons Deployment Authorization was issued. While its contents remains classified, the presumption is that NSPD 35 pertains to the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in the Middle East war theater in compliance with CONPLAN 8022.

These war plans must be taken very seriously.

GLOBAL ALERT John Moore - Mega-Tsunami from the Canary Islands!

According to John Moore, in a recent interview with Dr. Bill Deagle on the Nutrimedical Report, there is an increased possibility of a super mega-tsunami coming from the Canary Islands in the coming weeks.

El Hierro Volcano: Is one of the smallest of the Canary Islands, the origins of the island date back some 100 million years when the ocean floor shifted with the movement of the Earth's mantle. The crust cracked into a three pointed star releasing flows of magma. After 3 eruptions, the island emerged from the ocean as an imposing volcano more than 2,000 meters high. It has now been over 200 years since the last eruption but El Hierro. Although being the smallest island, it has the largest number of volcanoes with over 500 open sky cones and another 300 covered by the most recent outflows. There has been uncertainty surrounding reports of a historical eruption taking place in 1793.

Meanwhile, scientific research is predicting that an eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano, at La Palma in the Canary Islands would result in a massive mega-tsunami that would reach the East Coast of America.

Geological evidence suggests that during a future eruption, Cumbre Vieja Volcano on the Island of La Palma may experience a catastrophic failure of its west flank, dropping 150 to 500 km3 of rock into the sea. Using a geologically reasonable estimate of landslide motion, we model tsunami waves produced by such a collapse. Waves generated by the run-out of a 500 km3 (150 km3) slide block at 100 m/s could transit the entire Atlantic Basin and arrive on the coasts of the Americas with 10-25 m (3-8 m) height. Lateral collapses of oceanic island volcanoes rank amongst the most spectacular natural events on Earth. Although no such lateral collapse punctuates the historical past, residual debris found on the seafloor evidence their abundance in recent geological time. Moore (1964) first identified the remains of lateral collapses off the flanks of Hawaii. Since then, dozens have been recognized adjacent to island volcanoes in nearly every ocean (Moore et al. 1994; Keating and McGuire, 2000). These observations constrain not only the geography and frequency of lateral collapses, but also their magnitude (up to 5000 km3 of material), extent (to 300 km length) and ferocity (underwater speeds to 140 m/s).

In this introduction, the basic operating sequences, file types, and program types are discussed regarding the energy analysis and design program eQuest. Included are user flow charts for basic user operation

Basics of eQUEST: eQUEST is the DOE2 engine with wizards and graphics built on top of it. It allows you to run quick simulations or very complex models. The three wizards you need to be familiar with are:
1. Schematic Design Wizard
2. Design Development Wizard
3. Energy Efficiency Measure Wizard

The first two wizard, schematic design wizard (SD) and Design Development Wizard (DD) are used to design and construct a project, while the Energy Efficiency Wizard (EEM) is used to make comparisons. For instance, what if you want to try multiple types of glass in your building simulation? You would use the EEM to model up to 10 different options.

Lets start with a simple calculation: We have a single shell building and we want some quick simulation results.

We can run the SD wizard in a matter of minutes to show the standard reports, and then run the EEM wizard, which would give you the standard reports as well as the parametric run reports comparing multiple options. To make things a little bit more confusing, we could have done the exact same thing in the DD wizard which would have taken an additional few minutes, but not really significant.

This leads to a common question among new eQUEST users: "Which wizard do I use?"

A: For completely new users to eQUEST you can almost always start with the SD wizard, used for single shells, while the DD wizard is used for multiple shells. So what is a shell? If you look at the pictures here you see a three story building sharing the same building footprint, which is a single shell. The building on the right shows a single building with an additional wing that would be considered an additional shell. This is because all parts of the building do not have a common footprint. However if you started in the schematic design and later on discover there is an additional shell you can always jump from the SD to the DD. EQUEST is made so you can transition to different programs and wizards without using your data, but these movements are usually one directional, meaning that if you were to go from the SD wizard to the DD wizard, you cannot go back to the SD wizard. You can also not go back from the detailed data mode to the DD wizard or SD wizard.

A common mistake is that users start in DD wizard and try to go to the SD wizard. This is impossible since the DD wizard uses more data than the SD wizard and you would lose data by transition back into the SD wizard.

Lets take a look at some of the common flow diagrams an eQUEST user may encounter. A user may simple start in the schematic design wizard and jump into the summary results or detailed sim output (advanced results). The user may also run the same file in the SD wizard and run the EEM report and get the parametric reports in the meantime. The same thing can be done with the DD wizard, but remember that DD allows more than one shell and mulitple options. Both of these wizards are covered in the intro to eQUEST course.

Another common flow diagram is to start with the SD, run your parametric runs, then jump into the DD, run your parametric runs again, and from the DD wizard you could run your summary results or get your detailed results as well. If you going to use eQUEST your probably going to have to use the detailed data entry. This is common for energy modelers, but before you get that far you need to understand how the files are related and how they operate.

There are several importatnt file types in equest:
*.PD2 - Building inputs for wizards: the data in this file is data enetered by the user and not the defaults
*.PRD - Parametric Run Definitions: this file contains the opitions when you run parametric runs, for instance when comparing glass types.
*.SIM - Large output files (text): This can be viewed in eQUEST when we want to view advanced reports
*.INP - Building inputs (Created by wizards) - (Advanced users) can edit with text editors: We will show how to do this in the course

Before we open the program it is important to note that eQUEST uses color coded text.

At the southwest corner of Phuket is Promthep Cape ( Laem Promthep ) also known as Sunset Point because of its spectacular sunset views. It is a popular place with Asian tour groups who congregate here from the late afternoon until sunset.
In one direction, there is a great view across Nai Harn Beach to the Royal Phuket Yacht Club. In the other direction is the dramatic cape jutting into the sea. For the adventurous, there is a footpath down to the end of the cape but watch your footing as you go.
Beyond the cape, you see Koh Kaeo and in the distance are the Koh Racha islands. There is a nice restaurant on the side of the hill where you can enjoy some food and drink while watching the sunset.
There are plenty of trinket shops, food stalls, etc by the car park. You can also visit the small lighthouse on top of the hill
Prom is the Thai word for the Hindu God, Brahma which signifies purity. Thep is the Thai word for God. It has formally been referred to as, God's Cape' by the local Phuket people.
Historically, Promthep Cape was a prominent feature for early seafarers, approaching Phuket from the sub-continents. Promthep Cape, is the most Southern point of Phuket Island. It is headland extending into the sea. This simply stunning location overlooks various Phuket Capes such as Kho Man, Rawai, Yanui and Nai Harn.
You will also find a lighthouse situated here, complete with viewing platform. Kanchanaphisek Lighthouse offers beautiful views into the sea, the surrounding capes and the South coast of Phuket. Inside the lighthouse you will find an interesting nautical museum.
Next to the lighthouse you will find a Buddhist shrine, complete with elephant statues. A monument to the 28th Son of Rama V, The Prince of Jumborn, can also be viewed. After leaving for England to become a naval cadet - the Prince returned six years later to build the first military base in Phuket.
There are market stalls in the car park area, selling souvenirs, silk shirts, cotton shirts, t-shirts, hats etc. You will also find a Restaurant located at Promthep Cape. Promthep Cape is Phuket's most popular viewpoint, particularly famous for it's truly spectacular sunsets.

Upon reaching the highest available level in a skill, members may buy a special cape known as a "Cape of Accomplishment" or a "Skill Cape", to symbolise their achievement.[17] A "Max Cape" can be purchased if a member reaches the highest level in all skills.[18]
Some skills, such as woodcutting and fishing, enable the player to collect raw materials that can be processed into usable items for other skills, such as fletching and cooking respectively. The items created can be used by the player or sold to shops and other players. Other skills allow players to kill certain NPCs, build their own houses, move around the map with greater ease, steal from various NPCs, market stalls and chests located in-game, light fires, cook their own food, create their own potions, craft runestones and weapons, plant their own plants, hunt NPC animals, raid dungeons, and summon familiars to assist in combat and training skills.[19]
Combat
RuneScape features a real-time combat system. Combat is an important aspect of the game, allowing players to retrieve items or gold dropped by defeated creatures or players and complete quests. A combat level is an indicator of how powerful a player or NPC is in combat. For players, it is determined by applying a mathematical formula to the eight combat skills.[20] Players engage in combat by clicking on the enemy they want their character to attack and will automatically continue fighting until they kill their opponent, die, or retreat from the fight. Most of the game's weapons are medieval or fantastical in nature, and feature different strengths and weaknesses. Players may also summon a familiar to assist with combat[21] and use potions and the Prayer skill to boost their combat prowess.
Combat is subdivided into three main categories: melee, magic and ranged. Melee attacks are close range,[22] magic attacks focus on using runestones to cast spells,[23] and ranged attacks use projectile weapons like arrows, darts or knives.[24] These combat types make up the "Combat Triangle", which states that melee attacks are effective against ranged opponents, ranged attacks are effective against magic opponents and magic attacks are effective against melee opponents.[25] The advantages and disadvantages of the combat triangle apply to both NPCs and player opponents. Unlike most games in the MMORPG genre, RuneScape does not require players to choose a character class nor are players bound to a specific category of combat. They may freely change between or combine the three styles of combat by switching weapons and armour.
Players die when their life points are reduced to zero. Lost life points can be recovered by consuming certain food or drinks. Here is a little inspirational video we put together here at Rocketspots.tv (http://www.RocketSpots.tv ) to celebrate Christopher Allan Smith's winning of an Emmy award in 2011.

He was lucky enough to do it with his friend, cousin and longtime collaborator Ryan Neisz. Ryan is the owner of a southern California video company, Clear Creative Media (http://www.c2mnow.com ).

The upshot: You can dream of great things, and that's all well and good, but working long and hard to achieve your goals is what success demands.

Background: Last year, we did an educational video for Castro Valley High School to keep high schoolers from drinking and driving. It's part of a national program called Every 15 Minutes ( Every15Minutes.com ) and part of the program is to produce a video for each high school. It's since become the most-viewed Every 15 Minutes video of all time.

A great description of the basics of the Every 15 Minutes program we found on another YouTube upload:

Every 15 Minutes is a program designed to educate high school students on the effects and consequences of drinking and driving. EFM in California is usually by way of a Grant from the California Highway Patrol Office of Traffic Safety. EFM is typically a two day event for the students and is usually conducted every other year.

Day one is when the staged car crash takes place. All of the Juniors and Seniors are released at the sound of a distressed 911 call and gather to watch the events unfold live as they actually happen. Police cars and motorcycles, fire trucks, ambulances, helicopters, news vans and even the County Coroner is usually on hand. This is a large, community involved event. Meanwhile, throughout the day (Every 15 Minutes to be precise), a student is pulled from their class by a grim reaper and a Police Chaplin will read an obituary to the class informing them of their classmate's death. All of the students who are pulled from class become the "living dead" and are on hand at the car crash site, either standing off to the side quietly with white painted faces or sometimes roaming around as the crash unfolds. Day one usually ends with a retreat of sorts, where students are cut off from the world, mobile phones and all, and they usually spend the night at a church or gymnasium, where they listen to speakers and reflect on what has happened. This is to add to the realism as to the student "really being gone".

Day two is an assembly. Students are lead in to the gymnasium or theater where they are met by what looks to be a mock court room, and usually caskets are representing a funeral service of sorts. The drunk driver is brought in and stands trial, and the judge will introduce the "evidence" and that is when the video is played. The living dead are brought in as well as the students involved directly in the crash scene directly proceeding the video and the assembly concludes usually with a couple of public speakers from the community sharing their personal experience on drinking and driving and how it has affected their life. The assembly concludes the year's Every 15 Minutes production.

4. The effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work. (Probably the most important factor). If the copied work reduces demand for the original work because people view it as a substitute for the original work then this factor will weigh as copyright infringing. But a stinging criticism that makes the author of the original work look like a fool, and thus reduces the demand for the original work in the marketplace would fall within Fair Use.

All New 2012 Toyota Fortuner Facelift

In 2005, Toyota initiated a global new manufacturing strategy that saw the introduction of a new series of models called the 'Innovative international Multi-purpose Vehicles' (IMV). The project was a massive undertaking as it would move virtually all activities for the models outside Japan. The primary IMV model was the Hilux which would be produced in the largest numbers. The other two models were the Fortuner SUV and Innova MPV, both of which were engineered to suit the needs and cost bases of the ASEAN and emerging markets.
Platform sharing was major part of the IMV project as this could cut costs significantly. In earlier years, each model would have its own platform, adding unnecessary cost. With the IMV models, many areas could be shared but at the same time, some customization was also allowed to provide the desired characteristics.
But in a competitive environment, consumers want to see something new so periodic updates and upgrades are necessary to keep the model fresh. The new Hilux has already been launched and now comes the upgraded Fortuner which is said to have been improved with the product concept of 'Advanced & Prestige'.
As in such upgrades, the aim is not just to freshen the looks but also try to make the model better value for money. This means adding features and making minor changes which are often prompted by customer feedback.
Basically, there are two variants of the Fortuner, the 2.7V which has a 2.7-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine and the 2.5G which has a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine. All have 4-speed automatic transmissions and each has two versions -- a standard version and a TRD Sportivo version. Prices range from RM167,990 to RM182,488.
A new colour -- Dark Steel Mica -- is now included in the choices of body colours which include Silver Metallic, Medium Silver Metallic and Solid White. The previously available Coal Black is no longer available.
The new Fortuner has been given a fresh new look that enhances its appearance which now has a more distinctive image. The new reverse-trapezoid chrome grille and headlamp designs emphasize the width of the vehicle and give it an appearance that is rather like the other large SUV and MPV Toyota models.
Viewed from the side, the new Fortuner looks like it has visual more forward movement due to subtle changes in the character lines on the overfenders around the wheel arches. Other new features include revised body-coloured wing mirrors with embedded signal lights and restyled rear combination lighting units with new graphics.
The TRD Sportivo version consists of both front and rear bumper spoiler and TRD Sportivo stripes that are specially designed, tested and approved by Toyota. The front and rear bumper spoilers are made of PP (polypropylene) which is a strong and hard plastic material. TRD -- which stands for Toyota Racing Development - is a unit in the Toyota Group involved in motorsports and high-performance products.
Those who know the Fortuner from before will notice something different when they step into the cabin of the new one. It looks darker and this is because of a change in the colour scheme. A dark colour makes more sense since a SUV may be used off-road and more dirt is likely to get into the cabin.
The central area of the dashboard has been restyled with a horizontally-based design to give a wider feel to the cabin. For the Fortuner 2.7V grade, black woodgrain/chrome plating while the Fortuner 2.5G has silver finishing. The instrument panel's sporty 3-meter design has also undergone some changes and no longer has cylindrical walls separating each meter. The Optitron meters are highly legible and at night, there's turquoise blue illumination.
New features include the redesigned steering wheel which has a 4-spoke design. The Fortuner 2.7V has audio controls on the upper left spoke with black woodgrain trim for the upper quadrant of the rim. The shift lever knob on the Fortuner 2.7V also gets a black woodgrain finish to match the dashboard, steering wheel and door trim as well as leather trim for the three rows of seats. For the Fortuner 2.5G, a gear position indicator is now added to the meter to keep the driver informed.
As with most SUVs of this size, there are three rows of seats and a variety of layouts can be created by folding the second and third rows. When all three rows are available, there's comfortable seating for up to seven adults. For the Fortuner 2.7V, there's a 6-way power-adjustable driver?s seat.
