Jersey Shore - "The Truth Will Set You Free"

Jersey Shore Season 5 Episode 9 http://Tv-ShowsHD.com "The Truth Will Set You Free"

Jersey Shore is an American reality television series that premiered on MTV on December 1, 2001 in the United States. The series follows the lives of eight housemates spending their summer at the Jersey Shore in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Season 2 followed the cast escaping the cold northeast winter to Miami Beach, with Season 1 returning to the Jersey Shore. The fourth season, filmed in Italy, premiered on August 1, 2011.[1][2][1] MTV confirmed in June 2011 that Season 5 will return to Seaside Heights. The show debuted amid large amounts of controversy regarding the use of the words "Guido/Guidette," portrayals of Italian-American stereotypes, and scrutiny from locals because the cast members were not residents of the area.

Dubbed a cultural phenomenon,[7] the series has garnered record ratings for MTV, making it the network's most viewed series telecast ever.[8] The series' cast has also been credited with introducing unique lexicon and phrases into American popular culture. The University of Chicago and the University of Oklahoma are among the educational institutions that have had classes or conferences about the show.[1][10][11] In 2010, the cast of Jersey Shore was named on Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People list,[10] and the series has since been exported to dozens of countries worldwide.[12] It has been announced that the show will return on January 5, 2012 for season 5.
Production history

VH1 producer Anthony Beltempo proposed the idea of a show focusing on the "guido" lifestyle for TV, in the form of a competition series. Executive producer SallyAnn Salsano, who previously worked on A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, devised a new concept, inspired by her summers in a Jersey summer share house. MTV Networks President Van Toffler felt that the series "loud, young, bold" style was better suited to MTV's sensibilities than VH1, and MTV programming executive Tony DiSanto felt that "[After The Hills], it was time to go for a more authentic approach, like a documentary." Van Toffler described the casting process by saying they looked for "candor, honesty, boldness and a very combustible, chaotic mess. You could honestly say none of these people were traditionally beautiful."[13]

The series follows the lives of eight housemates spending their summer in a summer share in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Season 1 followed cast members Angelina Pivarnick, Jennifer Farley, Michael Sorrentino, Nicole Polizzi, Paul DelVecchio, Ronald Ortiz-Magro, Samantha Giancola, and Vincenzo Guadagnino at the Jersey Shore. Jersey Shore premiered on December 3, 2001, with back-to-back episodes, averaging 1.375 million viewers.[11] Although the initial ratings were considered unimpressive to Salsano, they slowly grew in popularity, and was the subject of parody on Saturday Night Live after the third week, a turnaround that MTV executive Tony DiSanto calls "the fastest 0 to 60 I've ever seen on a show."[13] Season 1 posted strong growth every week and ranked #1 in its time period versus all cable competition among P12--31 (people 12 to 31 years old) during the first quarter of 2010, with a season high 2.6 rating for the finale.[15] The season 1 finale audience, 1.8 million, was more than triple that of the premiere, an increase of more than 3.1 million, and was MTV's highest rated original series telecast in almost two years.[15] Overall, the season 1 averaged 2.7 million viewers.[16]

In an article in Rolling Stone, it was mentioned that the house had 35 remote-controlled cameras in fixed locations, 12 hand-held ones, one IMX camera and six DV cameras.[17] Nicole Polizzi said that:
jersey shore, season 5 Episode 1, The Truth Will Set You Free, part 1, full episode, s5e1, 5, 1. They have cameras everywhere, all the time... You're always being watched. You kind of get a little paranoid, because you're like, 'Who's watching me?'... It's trippy. it messes with your head. But that's why we go crazy. That's why we fight with each other. That's why we drink. We're living in a house for two months with that shit. We can't have cellphones, TV, radio or internet... There's no normalcy. It's like a prison, with cameras. The only time we're not on camera is when we're in the shower, and that's why we all take three-hour showers, just to get away from it all.[17]

After Season 1, the cast negotiated pay raises, though both they and DiSanto explained that it was not contentious, and was given undue weight by the press. Rather than wait until the next New Jersey summer for Season 2, the production moved to Miami.

You kind of get a little paranoid, because you're like, 'Who's watching me?'... It's trippy. it messes with your head. But that's why we go crazy. That's why we fight with each other. That's why we drink. We're living in a house for two months with that shit. We can't have cellphones, TV, radio or internet... There's no normalcy. It's like a prison, with cameras. ❧❦JUSTIN BIEBER 18th BIRTHDAY "MARCH 1ST 2012" ❧❦

The teen idol is turning 18, and his fans want to give him a record-breaking gift: The most social media messages sent in a 24 hour period. Those with Bieber Fever can send the star a greeting through Facebook starting midnight March 1. The singer first found fame through YouTube. He's since attracted 17.8 million Twitter followers and 40.8 million Facebook "Likes."
Justin Drew Bieber[7] ( /'bi?b?r/ BEE-b?r, born March 1, 1994)[1] is a Canadian pop/R&B singer, songwriter and actor.[2][4] Bieber was discovered in 2008 by Scooter Braun,[8] who came across Bieber's videos on YouTube and later became his manager. Braun arranged for him to meet with Usher in Atlanta, Georgia, and Bieber was soon signed to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint venture between Braun and Usher,[9] and then to a recording contract with Island Records offered by L.A. Reid.[5][10] Bieber's debut single, "One Time", was released in 2009 and peaked in the top ten in Canada and charted in the top thirty in several international markets. His debut album, the seven-track EP My World, followed in November 2009, and was soon certified platinum in the United States. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut album chart on the Billboard Hot 100.[11]

Bieber's first full-length studio album, My World 2.0, was released in March 2010. It debuted at number one or within the top ten in several countries and was certified platinum in the United States. It was preceded by the worldwide top-ten single, "Baby". The music video of "Baby" is currently ranked as the most viewed and most discussed YouTube video.[12] Bieber followed-up the release of his debut album with his first headlining tour, the My World Tour, the remix albums My Worlds Acoustic and Never Say Never -- The Remixes, and the 3D biopic-concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never -- which had an opening weekend gross that nearly matched the record for the biggest opening weekend for a concert-film. Bieber released his second studio album, Under the Mistletoe in November 2011, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Bieber has received numerous awards, including Artist of the Year at the 2010 American Music Awards — and has been nominated for numerous awards, including Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards.

HTC A310E

NEW DISCOUNT http://www.amazon.com/HTC-Explorer-Unlocked-Android-Smartphone/dp/B005JC48OS%...

Customer Reviews:

"I bought this phone on a whim with minimal research. I was umming and aaagghing about getting an iphone but kept balking at the cost especially as I had an ipod already which I use constantly for listening to podcasts, wi-fi at home and the office, and reading books. So what did I need in a phone I finally asked myself? Phone, email and internet. Occasionally a camera and the option of reading a book if I am without my ipod. The Explorer jumped out of me in the first shop I went into after I had decided not to go down the iphone path at present. I liked the look of it including its robust rubber casing, the size and most of all the price. So just like that I bought it, and within a day of using it and realising just how much it did, I was hooked. Its easy to use even for an android beginner like me. No, its not an iphone 4S or a Samsung Galaxy but it is proof that for under
200 (and what did that buy you in the phone department five years ago? Not much) you can join the world of smart phones and embrace all the mobile technology that the everyman/woman needs. On the basis of having owned this phone for less than a week, but having operated it in two countries, I could not be happier with my spontaneous purchase and count myself as a new fan of HTC phones.27 February. Have now had the phone about a month. Still enjoying it but it does have some issues - for example it can sometimes take a long time to 'load' which can be annoying if you need to make a phone call in a hurry. I have even had the situation where the phone was ringing but the usual swiping process to answer the phone just didn't work! Music player is nothing to write home about and no challenge to your everyday ipod. So, with that I am revising my rate down from 5 stars to 4."

DualView: Enabling Concurrent Dual Views on Common LCD Screens (2011)

This demo shows how we can make the user see different images on an off-the-shelf LCD screen by simply looking from different angles.

Details:
Researchers have explored a variety of technologies that enable a single display to simultaneously present different content when viewed from different angles or by different people. These displays provide new functionalities such as personalized views for multiple users, privacy protection, and stereoscopic 3D displays. However, current multi-view displays rely on special hardware, thus significantly limiting their availability to consumers and adoption in everyday scenarios. In this paper, we present a pure software solution (i.e. with no hardware modification) that allows us to pre-sent two independent views concurrently on the most wide-ly used and affordable type of LCD screen, namely Twisted Nematic (TN). We achieve this by exploiting a technical limitation of the technology which causes these LCDs to show varying brightness and color depending on the viewing angle.
